At EMO Hannover 2025, the prestigious ANCA Tool of the Year Awards celebrated the pinnacle of innovation, craftsmanship, and precision in cutting tool manufacturing. Now in its eighth year, the event recognised outstanding achievements from across the globe, honouring the creativity and skill of ANCA’s customers.
Xiamen Golden Egret Special Alloy Co., Ltd. (XGE) won the coveted Made on ANCA title for its advanced Ballnose Profile Endmill, featuring multiple radii (R0.06mm and R0.07mm) that reduce wheel wear while maintaining exceptional accuracy. The tool’s perfectly blended spherical end and smooth OD transitions ensure strength and flawless performance. Accepting the award, Mr. Jianyuan Chen, Process Engineer at XGE, credited the win to the company’s two-decade partnership with ANCA, highlighting shared innovation and engineering excellence.
In the Virtual Tool category, Zhuzhou Huarui Precision Tools Co., Ltd. impressed judges with a simulated ceremonial scepter symbolising power and prosperity. Crafted through ToolRoom programming and CIM3D visualisation, the design combined artistic creativity with precise engineering. Programmer Mr. Siqiang Liu expressed pride in winning and emphasized his drive to continue pushing technical boundaries.
The Female Machinist of the Year 2025 award went to Nayeli Martínez of OSG GmbH, honoured for her technical leadership and advocacy for women in manufacturing. A Biotechnology Engineer by training, Nayeli has earned recognition for improving process efficiency and inspiring young women to pursue engineering careers.
