EASYDrill: The perfect solution for all common drilling operations
The new solid carbide drill EASYDrill can be used for drilling in almost all materials – from steel to stainless steel, cast iron and aluminum to high-temperature alloys. It can be used at high cutting speeds and feed rates and, because of its high rigidity, achieves very good hole qualities in terms of straightness and roundness. A special center grind and the tapered core with 30° helix guarantee good chip removal and ensure high process reliability. The internal cooling of the tool also contributes to this. Thanks to corner protection bevel & fine-grained carbide substrate, the risk of chipping and tool breakage is reduced. The TiAIN-based multilayer coating and the straight cutting edge ensure high wear resistance & long service life. The EASYDrill solid carbide drill is available with diameters from 2.5 to 14 mm and in lengths 3xD and 5xD and can be used in a wide range of industrial sectors – also for core hole drilling for subsequent thread production.
EASYReam: Process-reliable reaming tools for blind and through holes
The new EASYReam family includes solid carbide reamers (EASYReam Solid) and modular reamers (EASYReam Modular). The tool solutions are easy and flexible to use for fine machining of blind and through holes in all ISO materials (P, M, K, N, S). They feature internal cooling, a ground cutting edge, and an unequal pitch that reduces vibration, guaranteeing a stable process with outstanding hole quality, excellent surfaces, and long tool life. High cutting speeds and feeds increase machining speed. The tools are ground to ISO H7 tolerance class and have minimal runout (< 3 microns).
The EASYReam Modular consists of a modular holder with exchangeable reamer heads. The holder is available in eight different sizes and two length versions 3xD and 5xD and can be used for blind as well as through holes. This keeps inventory costs low. The unique interface with a flat contact surface ensures stable torque transmission and easy handling, and quick replacement of the cutting head reduces tool change times. The EASYReam Modular covers the diameter range 14 to 42 mm, the EASYReam Solid is available for diameters from 5 to 14 mm.
